Going Out on the Water?

We have a private boat launch and docks at the Lodge. You can put your boat in here, or use one of the 2 public access ramps off Shaw St. or Canal St. and drive over.

For owners of non-Maine registered boats, you will need to purchase a lake and river protection sticker. The cost of a sticker for a non-Maine registered watercraft is $45 and may be purchased online in advance. The stickers are normally mailed within 1-2 business days. Stickers are also available at select agents throughout the state.

Bring a Boat:

We do not charge for boat docking. We have 5 docks, so there is plenty of space. We also have a large parking area for boats and trailers. There is an outlet near the boat docks for charging batteries.

Rent a Boat:

We have six, 14-foot aluminum boats with 8 or 15 hp motors. Boat rentals are $85/day for 8hp and $100/day for 15hp. This includes 1 tank of fuel, seat cushions, lifejackets, and paddles. Rentals are available to non-guests as well. Transfers available to Big Lake if needed.

Canoes, Kayaks, Paddleboards:

We have 2 canoes, 8 kayaks (2 doubles, 6 singles), 1 pedal boat, and 1 stand-up paddleboard available for guests. Use is complimentary. Canoes and kayaks are available for non-guests to rent. Rates are $50/day for canoes, and $25/day for kayak rentals.

Forgot Something?

Don’t worry! We have extra lifejackets, seat cushions, and paddles.
